ΣUpgrade Protocol //: Loading

We want to share a required community update regarding the ΣUpgrade protocol.

//: Deploying data

We started with building the backend and spent several months improving Smart contracts and all the automatization for handling metadata and images.

We faced some unique challenges: building a dynamic NFT protocol encompassing two collections, a lot of metadata, and additional calculations.

Current DApp ΣUpgrade interface

The next step was re-imagining the user experience. While the original DApp version was still working as intended. It did not match our goals, so we decided to make a complete redesign. And I'm glad to report the current revision is looking great!

ΣUpgrade demonstration

We proudly present the result of our developer team's tinkering and hard work as this technical Devnet ΣUpgrade demo!

Development process

And already since the record update a few days ago, our developers added additional features:

  • RoboPart grouping - showing all the same RoboParts in one stack with a small number
  • Displaying the locked-in RoboParts ready for upgrade

Timeline

We currently have a fully working process on Devnet. MultiversX migrated to a new Devnet 2, so we are now in the process of migrating everything to a new Devnet 2.

After migration, we will launch public testing on the Devnet. We will invite everyone to test and break the ΣUpgrade protocol to try and catch all the possible issues. This tentatively will happen in the month of November.
