Protocol //: 2023 Recap

It was a tough year for the Space Robots project and its team. Balancing work projects while working part-time on Space Robots was challenging due to personal life issues and scheduling conflicts among team members.

//: But we made it, and we did pretty well! But we're still pushing forward and excited for what's to come in 2024! 🤖

Next Frontier

We started the year 2023 fully optimistic to achieve as much as possible! With a big list of things to build. So, let's start with the status of each of them:

  • 🟢 PHX Protocol - Done.
  • 🟡 Website Upgrade - Still in progress. New design and UI done. Working on content and final layouts.
  • 🟡 ΣUpgrade - Devnet version released featuring the new UI.
  • 🟢 ΣLadder - Fully released. Web: sladder.spacerobotsclub.com integration complete with ΣUpgrade.
  • 🔴 ΣMining - Development postponed. Moved to 2024.
  • 🟡 ΣMission - Still in progress. Content built, working on other parts.
  • 🔴 ΣForge - Development postponed. Moved to 2024.
  • 🔴 ΣConvert - Development postponed. Moved to 2024.
  • 🟡 ΣData - In progress. Database done. Integrated with ΣLadder and ΣUpgrade protocols.

Most of our protocol development is interconnected, and although originally we planned to work on ΣData in Q4, the work started in Q2 and continued through the year because it required the integration with ΣLadder and ΣUpgrade protocols. And for some of them, we did not have enough time to work on it.

On the bright side, we have a new team of developers who joined us at the end of 2022. In 2023, they successfully transferred and converted the previous code and other assets from the previous team. We're excited to see what they will achieve in 2024!
