We have planned a special event this year in the spirit of Christmas and the giving nature of the Space Robots community.

This time, JollyBot SFTs have been in the spotlight. Read more about JollyBots HERE

You are able to swap it for a JollyPack and then unlock it. In return, you'll get a special-edition RoboPart, and four other lucky Space Robots owners will receive matching RoboParts as a free gift this Christmas season.

At this time, there are 637 JollyBots in circulation. This is the maximum number of JollyPacks that can be used this holiday season, although not everyone may be willing to exchange them now. Which, in essence, makes this limited edition collection even more scarce.

The JollyPack contains 5 themed RoboParts. One for the owner of it, and four others for random Space Robots owners.

This event begins on December 23rd and ends on January 6th.

How does it work?

The first is swapping your JollyBot for a JollyPack using the Swap Protocol.

The second one is unlocking your JollyPack using the Unlock Protocol.

• Open until January 6th
• Opening a JollyPack gives you a random chance to get ONE out of five from Jollyparts set (HS-O-JollyHat, ER-Woolly-Horn, ES-Glowy-Cones, ES-Glowy-Cones or HN-Gift-Canons)
  • Four other parts will go to a random Space Robots NFT or RoboPack PH1 or PH2 holders
• RoboPart distribution is not instant and will be done like airdrops. Simulating everyone opening gifts at the same time (more information below).

With the help of the Swap Protocol, you may trade in your JollyBot for a brand-new JollyPack just in time for the holidays. From December 23rd until January 6th, it will be open to everyone.

The JollyBots will be burned after the Swapping process.

Once you open your JollyPack, five themed RoboParts will be distributed throughout your wallet, and one each to four randomly selected Space Robots holders.

The benefit of this distribution on Christmas, December 25 for you to receive gifts from everyone who participated. There will be two further waves of distribution on December 30 and January 6.

The distribution schedule will be monitored and maintained by the Space Robots crew. This is because, as far as we are aware, we are not allowed to set off the SC with a calendar event but must do so with actions.

For instance, once you interact with a Smart Contract, the asset is returned to you instantly. At the same time, it was our intention to distribute gifts throughout the community on Christmas and New Year's Eve.

What's next?

The JollyPack for this season can only be used to unlock the first two seasons. At both Christmases this year and next. The JollyPacks will become collectibles for those who exchanged their JollyBots without opening them.

We hope to make this an annual event, giving everyone in the community a chance to show their generosity and empathy to one another throughout the holiday season.

To that end, we plan to roll out a new holiday-themed events like this in the following years.
